How to apply
A student cannot apply for an exchange place on their own. Zeppelin University's procedure is that the student first notifies the international office of the home institution; the home university nominates the student; Zeppelin University then e-mails the student, who completes the application in an online portal. No MOAUM nomination procedure for Zeppelin University has been published.
Step 1: Confirm the route exists
Ask the Centre for Advancement and Linkages whether the agreement with Zeppelin University is in force, whether it includes exchange places for postgraduate students, and how MOAUM selects and nominates candidates.
Step 2: Be nominated by MOAUM
Zeppelin University accepts exchange students within the framework of a partnership agreement after their home university has nominated them.
Step 3: Complete the online application
After the nomination Zeppelin University notifies the student by e-mail and the application is completed in its online portal by the deadline.
Step 4: Receive admission and apply for the visa
Zeppelin University sends formal admission as an exchange student and helps with questions about the student visa and housing. Apply for the national visa for study through the German Missions in Nigeria.

Funding and costs
Funding not specified.
No funding for MOAUM students is published. Zeppelin University states that incoming students from its partner universities pay no tuition to it but must support themselves, with average living costs of 800 to 1,000 euros per month. It says a few scholarships, such as the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM, are available each year for incoming students; that scholarship (800 to 1,400 euros per month for 3 to 11 months) is awarded only through partnerships between Baden-Württemberg universities and their partner institutions and cannot be applied for directly.
Financial requirements: No tuition for incoming students from partner universities. Living costs of about 800 to 1,000 euros per month, according to Zeppelin University. For the visa, the German Missions in Nigeria require proof of 992 euros per month, shown for up to one year.
Visa, travel and stay
Nigerian students need a national visa for study. The German Missions in Nigeria take applications through the Consular Services Portal of the Federal Foreign Office, followed by an appointment. Required documents include a current admission letter from the German university stating the course, start date and language of instruction, and proof of adequate financial means (992 euros per month for university studies). Zeppelin University warns that visa processing can take a long time and advises checking the embassy's website before choosing an intake.
